Motorola Razr 40 Ultra specs, images & price point leak

Motorola is planning to announce its new clamshell foldables on June 1. The Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra will become official. We’ve seen a ton of info on both phones thus far, and some more just surfaced. The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra specs, images, and price point just appeared.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra specs, images & price point appear

A couple of days ago, Evan Blass shared some official lifestyle images of the device, and now we get to see seemingly official renders. All three color options are shown in these images, Black, Blue, and Red. Check out the gallery below the article for more information.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will have one major design difference compared to its sibling, the cover display. Its cover display will take up the vast majority of the front side when the phone is folded.

As you can see in the provided images, the display will even go around the cameras, and an LED flash. Motorola opted not to cut it off where the cameras protrude, unlike Samsung (with the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5).

Now, in terms of specs. The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will feature a 6.7-inch fullHD+ pOLED display. It will include 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Android 13 will come pre-installed on the device, along with the company’s MyUX skin.

Both wired and wireless charging will be supported here

A 3,800mAh battery will power the device, while you’ll get a nano SIM card slot + eSIM support. The device will support wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. A side-facing fingerprint scanner will also be a part of the package.

Facial scanning support will be included as well. A 32-megapixel main camera is tipped, along with an 8-megapixel secondary unit. That’s very odd, actually, and we wonder if it’s accurate. In any case, the source claims that a 12-megapixel selfie camera will also be included.

The tipster (Sudhanshu) did not share the details of the cover display, but that info did surface earlier. The cover display on the device will measure 3.5 inches, and we’re looking at a 1056 x 1066 resolution. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is said to fuel the phone, even though the tipster did not mention it.

The source also mentioned that the phone will cost “around $1,000”. So we still don’t have the exact price tag.
