LG has introduced the company’s newest flagship, the LG G4, back in April. The G4 is definitely one of the best devices of the year, and it’s already available all around the world. That being said, LG tends to introduce quite a few G4-branded devices a year, which are usually mid-range offerings. The LG G4 Stylus is definitely such a device. This phablet has been originally announced back in May, along with the G4c. That being said, the G4 Stylus has just launched in India as well, read on.
The G4 Stylus launch in India was announced a week ago, and the device is now finally available in India. LG India has launched the device, and it costs Rs. 24,990 ($394). That being said, let’s take a look at G4 Stylus’ specifications, shall we. This handset sports a 5.7-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS in-cell touch display, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable in-built storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core processor powers this handset along with an Adreno 306 GPU which is in charge of graphics. The 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and same can be said about 4G LTE connectivity. The 13-megapixel camera is available on the back of the G4 Stylus, and interesting enough, this handset also packs in the Laser Autofocus. The LED flash is also available here, and the device comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed with LG’s Android skin installed on top of it. The phablet measures 154.3 x 79.2 x 9.6mm, and it weighs 163 grams.
The LG G4 Stylus, as its name suggests, also ships with a stylus. Unfortunately though, this is a regular stylus pen, nothing special about it. The G4 Stylus features LG’s trademark design with the rear-facing physical buttons and the LG logo below the display. The LG G4 Stylus is a solid mid-range device, but the competition in India is really fierce, and it will be interesting to see if this handset will sell as well as LG hopes it will. The phone is available for Rs. 24,990 ($394), which is not exactly that affordable, but who knows. Either way, we’ll see what happens in the coming months, stay tuned.
