Earlier we got some hands-on time with the Roomba 980 from iRobot, but iRobot is far from being the only company who makes an automated vacuum to help you manage your cleanliness around the home. There are other options like the Neato Botvac here which we were also able to check out during CES.
Much like the other robot vacuums on the market, the Neato Botvac can be controlled and managed from a companion app that can be installed on an Android or iOS smartphone, and you can use the app to start the cleaning process, and you can set the parameters of where the vacuum is going to clean whether it’s the whole house, a single room, or there’s also a manual mode for cleaning any location. The Neato Botvac stays connected to WiFi and uses its wide brush at the front to get close to walls during cleaning so it can pick up as much dust, dirt and debris as possible. When everything is all said and done it goes back to the docking station to charge and go to sleep. Check out the gallery of images below for a closer look at the Neato Botvac.
