AT&T has revealed the availability dates of the newly launched Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G smartphones. In its latest blog post, the company announced the Pixel 5 to be available starting November 6 on its network. Customers can grab the Pixel 5 for $10 per month with an eligible trade-in or $15 per month without a trade-in.
While the Pixel 4a 5G pre-orders begin on the same day, shipping to start on November 19. AT&T will be selling the Pixel 4a 5G for just $5 per month with an eligible trade-in or $10 per month without a trade-in. Both the new and existing customers are eligible for the discounted pricing for a limited time.
Pixel 5 & Pixel 4a 5G will be available on AT&T starting November 6
The devices will be sold online and in-store. While the Pixel 5 comes in Just Black & Sorta Sage color options, the Pixel 4a 5G will be available only in Just Black color. Google has officially unveiled both these Pixel smartphones during its “Launch Night In” event held on September 30. The Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G are priced at $499 and $699 respectively.
While Verizon is carrying both the devices, T-Mobile will only sell the Pixel 4a 5G. Both these new Pixel smartphones support 5G connectivity and pack similar internals. However, the Pixel 5 offers better build quality and comes with a 90Hz display and Qi wireless charging support. It’s also slightly smaller and lighter than the Pixel 4a 5G.

Both the smartphones come with an OLED display with a punch-hole cut-out on the top left corner for accommodating the 8-megapixel single selfie camera. Under the hood, the devices are powered by the same 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G mobile platform. More importantly, the Pixel 4a 5G comes with 6GB of RAM while the Pixel 5 packs 8GB of RAM.
However, both these devices offer 128GB of internal storage with no MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. Unlike the last-gen Pixel 4, the Pixel 5 lacks the flagship chipset. Still, it offers a great value for its $699 price tag. Besides the primary 12.2-megapixel primary camera, there is also a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.
Users can now capture portraits even in low-light. Initially, the new “Hold for Me” feature will be exclusive to the new Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G. With the Hold for Me, users can carry on with their work when their call is put on hold. Google Assistant will monitor the call and will notify the users when someone gets back on the line.
