HTC Desire Eye Information:
We've seen many rumors and leaks prior to the release of HTC Desire Eye. First it was called only the "HTC Eye" and the rumors were saying it will basically be HTC One M8 but will sport a higher-res camera and then this happened. HTC launched a rather odd device which sports two 13-megapixel cameras, one on the front and the other on the back of the device. Other than looking weird thanks to that huge sensor and an LED on the front, this is quite the powerful device. Its specifications are quite high-end.
HTC Desire Eye comes sporting a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB). Desire Eye is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz along with an Adreno 330 GPU. Both on the front and on the back of this device you'll find a 13-megapixel camera which is flanked by a dual tone, dual-LED flash. The device sports a non-removable 2400mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 KitKat comes pre-installed on this device with HTC's Sense 6 UI on top of it with some added "Eye" features. Desire Eye is IPX7 certified for water and dust resistance. The device measures 151.7 x 73.8 x 8.5mm while it weighs 154 grams.

This is a rather interesting device by HTC. I have to admit that I didn't expect HTC to release something like this and didn't believe it until I actually saw the event. The device itself looks really odd and that front-facing 13-megapixel sensor and LED flash really stick out when you look at it. Other than that, this is a rather capable device and will perform great for anyone who gets it. It remains to be seen how will the sales go for HTC as far as this device is concerned, one thing is for sure, this is the ultimate phone for anyone who takes lots of selfies.
