IFA Day 4 Roundup: What You Need To Know

Day 4 of IFA 2015 has came to an end now and while it was not as eventful as the last few days have been, there was still plenty of good stuff to see. In fact, today was much more about the accessories than anything with no major smartphone or tablet announcements coming through. That said, we did get to see a few of the other newly announced smartphones today including the Huawei Mate S, CAT Rugged S30 and S40 and the latest from ARCHOS, including the Diamond S and Diamond Plus smartphones and the Diamond Tab.

On the accessory front, one of the real products worth checking out is HTC’s take on virtual reality, the HTC Vive. This has seen a lot of headlines over the last few months and has also been touring the country for people to check out what virtual reality is all about. So, if you have yet to see Vive and are at IFA, then you might want to do so. Moving on and Runtastic is also at IFA this week. While the company is more known for their fitness tracking apps, this week saw them announce the release of a smartwatch with their fitness tracking features built-in. Likewise, we were checking out Fitbit’s latest fitness trackers, the Fitbit Charge HR and Surge.

It also seemed to be the day of Bluetooth speakers with Harman Kardon this week announcing the launch of a bunch of new JBL and Harman Kardon Branded Bluetooth speakers and headphones and today was time for us to get hands on with them. If you missed any of the earlier coverage (or just want to take a second look) then all of today’s hands-on are listed down below.
