Samsung has sent out “Save the Date” teasers for their upcoming event on 24th October in New York City. The teaser features an obvious hint “S-Pen” that points to a possible Galaxy Note 2 launch in US. As we already know that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy Note 2 on all US carriers this time unlike its predecessor that was only exclusive to AT&T in the beginning and then it was recently launched on T-Mobile, although this time Samsung wants to rectify what it has done in the past and make their super powerful and oversized phablet available to everyone on every network. The first carriers to have the Note 2 will be the Big four namely Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.
We previously reported that the Note 2 will be available in the US market later this year and the recent teaser is a bit of confirmation to that report. UK will see the Note 2 launch on 1st October, so a November launch in the US market is highly likely.
The Galaxy Note 2 comes with mouth watering specs that include a 5.5″ 720p HD Display, 2GB of RAM, Quad Core chip clocked at 1.6GHz, LTE and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with the latest iteration of TouchWiz on top of it. Check out Full Specs of the Galaxy Note 2 here.
We will be there to bring you all the news regarding the Galaxy Note 2 as Samsung makes it public till then stay tuned. Do you think Samsung’s claims of selling 20 million Note 2 devices before the end of the year will come into reality?
