IFA Day 3 Roundup: What You Need To Know

IFA 2015 day 3 is over and there was lots to see today just like the first two days, with more smartphones and tablets, smartwatches, and plenty of other cool new products that were shown off at the event. ALCATEL ONETOUCH had a bunch of stuff to announce today, ranging from smartphones to tablets including the Pop Up, and Pop Star smartphones, as well as their GO Phone and GO Watch. We also got to see the Magic Mirror tablet from HiSense which boasts an insane screen to body ratio of 90 percent, which should pretty much alleviate anyone’s worries or fears over bezels and not enough screen real estate.

With wireless charging becoming more and more of a mainstream functionality in modern smartphones, it should be no surprise that there was some wireless charging tech at the event. You may remember the KIEA furniture that launched earlier this year with wireless charging pads built in, and at IFA a company called “Fonesalesman” debuted their lineup of wireless charging furniture to compete with IKEA’s offerings. Runtastic, the company behind the popular series of health and fitness apps announced they would be launching a new wearable/smartwatch in the near future called the Runtastic Moment. Now that they’ve been acquired by Adidas it seems it’s the right time to start introducing wearables geared towards those with an active lifestyle.  We also learned a little more about the pricing for the upcoming Sony Xperia Z5 and got to speak with Sony about their upcoming products, and we got a more closeup look at LG’s Watch Urbane Luxe smartwatch. If you happened to miss anything from the third day of the IFA conference, you can find everything in the links below.
