Motorola Moto G (2015)

Motorola Moto G (2015) Information:

Motorola Moto G (2015) is a third-gen Moto G handset, and a direct successor to the Moto G (2014) which was announced last year. Motorola's Moto G line is considered to be one of the best mid-range smartphone lineups to date, and these devices are usually very affordable. The things aren't that much different with the third-gen Moto G device either, considering that the device's pricing starts at $179.99 for the 1GB of RAM variant of the device. The 2GB model will set you back $219, which is quite affordable. Anyhow, let's take a look at the Moto G's specs, shall we.

This smartphone sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS LCD display along with 1 or 2GB of RAM. The 1GB of RAM model ships with 8GB of internal storage, while the 2GB variant comes with 16GB of internal storage. You can expand upon the available storage via a microSD  card (up to 32GB) if you choose to do so. The two models are otherwise identical, they are both powered by the Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core SoC, and ship with a 13-megapixel camera by Sony. The Motorola Moto G (2015) is IPX7 certified, which makes it water resistant up to 1 meter in water (up to 30min). Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this smartphone, an almost stock version of Android by the way, though Motorola did add some of their features on top of it.

Motorola Moto G (2015) Editor Rating:

The Motorola Moto G (2015) is quite probably the best buy smartphone available in the market at the moment. We're talking specifically about the 2GB of RAM model which is available for $219 (market dependent). The device performs great, is well built, offers water resistance, and its battery life is out of this world. You'll hardly find a better offering for that amount of money, and if you're on a budget, the new Motorola Moto G might be just the smartphone you're looking for.
