Sony Xperia Z5 Series Information:

Sony has unveiled three new smartphones as part of their new Xperia Z5 flagship line during IFA 2015 in Berlin. The company has announced the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium smartphones during their press conference. All three of these smartphones are made out of the same materials basically, but they sport different sizes and specifications. Speaking of which, let's check out what they have to offer in terms of specs.

All three of these devices are powered by the same SoC, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core SoC fuels all these devices. The Xperia Z5 sports a 5.2-inch 1080p display, the Z5 Compact ships with a 5.2-inch 720p panel, and the Z5 Premium features the 5.5-inch 4K panel. The Xperia Z5 and Z5 Premium comes with 3GB of RAM, while the Z5 Compact sports 'only' 2GB of RAM. All three of these devices come with 32GB of internal storage, and sport the same camera sensors. The 23-megapixel shooter is located on the back of the Xperia Z5 smartphones, and the 5.1-megapixel snapper can be found up front. 4G LTE connectivity is also available here, and Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed with Sony's UI available on top of Google's OS.

There is no denying that the Xperia Z5 handsets are powerful offerings by Sony, and true flagship devices, but can they compete with the rest of the pack? Well, yes, but we'll see how will the consumers react to them. Xperia Z5 line has lots to offer, if you need a smaller device, you have the Xperia Z5 Compact here, if you want the ultimate display, go with the Z5 Premium, etc. All of these phones also sport great cameras, which was to be expected from Sony. All in all, the Xperia Z5 smartphones are a welcomed addition by Sony.
